Editorial policy

Every rule rests on an official text we have read and name with its link: VAT laws and regulations, central bank pages, and, for zakat, fatwas published on their authors’ official websites. We do not rely on articles or blogs. Where we found no text, we say so plainly, as with the bar rule in Bahrain. All parameters sit in one file whose review date shows at the top and bottom of pages; we review it at least yearly and whenever we learn of a change. To report an error: contact us.
